Sea-Bound Lady Blue Mermaid

Look who I found when I had a chance to get out a bit? Sea-Bound Lady Blue Mermaid. I have no idea about this lady. I saw her at a Treasure Shop while waiting on my car wash, and made up the name for her. She was trapped in the glass case and surrounded by other sea living things.

I thought the title described her well, don't you think? Or can you enlighten me with another wonderful title for this Lady Blue?
Sea-Bound Lady Blue Mermaid reminded me of a wonderful love story called Lady Blue Snake. A love that comes once in millions of years - I hope so. Though, Lady Blue Snake isn't the one that fell in-love, it was her sister Lady White Snake. You can bet that I won't be teaching Trinity about Lady White Snake's hopelessly devoted love...
When telling the story, I will elaborate more about Lady Blue's courage and devotion towards her sister.
Ah, what can I say, I am a mother, and a realistic one. Encourage courage and identity. Follow-up with me in a few more years...In the mean time, I will be kicking and screaming to teach Trinity everything I know. Have a wonderful start of the week.

Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. Amanda, there is no doubt in my mind that your lovely Trinity will grow up to be as smart and wonderful as her mother! You are such a special human being. I had only boys ( 3 ) and I am pleased with the men they've become but I would so have loved a daughter!!

  3. I guess that is what parents do, and that's to teach their children what they know..Beautiful photos of the blue mermaid, and the name fits.

  4. I remembered that story and yeah, it revolves more on the Lady White Snake but I thought her sister was Lady Green Snake instead of Blue Snake?? The name is called Bai Ser (White Snake) and Xiao Qing (Green Snake), or is there a different story?

From the pictures, I don't know but she looked like a Lonely Blue Mermaid to me.. Her elegant poise seemed to be hiding the loneliness as a mermaid is feeling.. :)

Yeah, have a great start of the week..
    Cheers..

  8. Cool, so it is the same story.. :)
@ Judy.. Yeah, you are right.. :) But when I said lonely, I was indicating the journey taken before reaching the path of Peace.. Enjoying the quietness is indeed peace yet before one hit on that path, some need to take on lonely.. Maybe you would like to check out this link?

  11. @RNSANEI was blessed with Trinity. At the same time, I am complaining too. Isn't it such as life, we are always having something to fuzz about. I wouldn't trade her in for anything though. Smiles. I am checking out your give away now.

  13. @Icy BCI know we try, but I am trying extra hard with T. Probably more persistence in teaching her than the boys. I hope it works out.

  14. @Krislin Neo, Ting (Syracuse Pike)I think over the years, they changed green to blue. In Vietnamese, the same word is use for green and blue: xanh.

She could be lonely, but she is also elegant, you're right on all counts.
