Watch Me - Wash Me

Below are some pictures of the water fountain in front of my favorite Thai restaurant, where we go for our four favorite dishes. It's probably the only place we eat out at now a days that keeps us longing for more. One of those dishes is the Seafood Special Salad, which I've tried a Self Sagacity version for the holidays called Holiday Indulgence.

There are several of these elephants in this huge fountain, and every time I look at them, I smile. I am hoping to bring you the same feeling, since they look so happy and playful.

  3. Thanks for the info about watery Weds & outdoor Weds -- I'd never heard of those before.

Thanks also for your comment on my crocheted flower. In answer to your question, the petals are crocheted onto a foundation of chain stitches. There's a big open space in each petal, so if you use the flower as an applique, the item underneath will peek through a bit.

You're more than welcome to use the free pattern, if you like. It's here:

  4. Hello Self Sagacity,

I enjoy your watery photos, especially of the laughing or smiling elephant. Sounds like you had a good time at your favorite Thai restaurant. Your fav dish on another page sounds delicious; I have seen red chili paste sold here in the Northeast at a Great Wall Supermarket.

  18. Yes, the elephant stole the show, it's a pretty nice water fountain, too bad they are not taken care of more often. I think with proper care and some flowers, they can look absolutely stunning! Thank you for all your comments and visits.
