Do you believe that water won't wear me down? Well, that's not true, because according to a popular Vietnamese saying: "Nuoc chay da mon" meaning “running water wears down rocks.”

My mother uses this cliché when she needed to motivate us. Many things would seem enormous and unachievable when it’s new to you. If you start - it’s a first step, if you keep-up with it - you’re on your way, and before you know it - you’re half way through. I always took it as persistence pays off, or something similar to keep working at something in time even the toughest jobs would get done.

It’s similar to the saying: “you don’t need to know the how, just keep working and the how will come to you.” When something seemed beyond you, it’s because you haven’t begun. We often limit ourselves, because we think we can’t, but as the any successors would tell you, you just have to put your mind to what ever your dream is and realize it in time.
Like Dory says in Finding Nemo: “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.”
