Make Your Own Princess Playdate Invitation

Trinity
It's hard to be a Princess. I have fun with King Dad and Queen Mom most of time, but when they are busy with their chores, I wish there were other Princesses to play with.

I have been discussing with Queen Mom about having my friends over.  She thought it was a fabulous idea, but since we don't see the other parents at school, we had to come up with a "good approach."

She said: "We will need to send invitations, and make it a play date request." So mom and I started working on my Playdate Invitations. I picked this photo from Halloween of me smiling because I looked happy even though I had the flu that week. Mom turned it into a post card, and called it the Princess Playdate Invitation.

I think the invitation looks great, but a party wouldn't be special without sweet treats. And since I love cupcakes so much, I asked if we could bake some. Mom told me it would be faster if I go here to pick out some treats. Queen mom seems to have all the answers. I chose some cupcakes pops and animal pops pictured here. I think my friends would absolutely love it! I can't wait to for my Princess Playdate.

BTW- If you want to make a Princess Playdate Invitation post card like this one mom said to use Microsoft Publisher and use the blank template with 4 postcards per page and "be creative."

Thanks for visiting. I hope to come back and let you know if my Princess Play Date Invitations get any response.

  1. You do have the most wonderful mommy. I kind of wish I would have had one girl in the midst of my three sons
( all now adults ). We never had princess parties but sleepovers and the house was always totally trashed no matter how hard I tried to keep some semblance of order during those events.

    1. And the party continues, but now that she is older, parents are less involved in the planning.

  4. Oh, what a beautiful play date invitation. My girls never find the time to do them. They just get my mum to ask the other mums. How lazy!

  8. This is precious! Our computers let us do so many things and I just love it! I made my son's & grandson's open house invitations on the computer, have made business cards, flyers and greeting cards. We used to do this by hand but now the computer has taken that away. I never get any orders for calligraphy any more.
