A couple of ways I like to cook green beans are with garlic and with potatoes. There was a short period of time when I was into cooking fresh vegetables almost everyday, but this task soon became time consuming and a pain to keep up with fresh vegetables. What takes the most time to do is chopping all the vegetables. Even though I used my fingers to break the green beans, sometimes I think it might be faster if I would line them all up and chop them all at once with a utility knife instead. Otherwise, when the ingredients are ready, just drop them in and season.
