Guest Post from Unbreakable Mind
Another Friend Engaged? Yet another one of my friends is now engaged.

It’s times like these where I’m most vulnerable, when I feel slightly defective. I am so oddly jealous. Everyone is riding off into the sunset with their prince charming. People tell me not to look for love so I haven’t, but I feel like I’m being left in the dust, that their horse-drawn carriages leave behind. My options are to look for love and have a slim chance of finding it or to just sit around and ‘wait’, expecting love to find you eventually - the odds of that being even slimmer. Blair Waldorf said, "Destiny is for losers. It's a poor excuse for people to wait around for things to happen to them" and I'm starting to believe that it's true. However, I'm constantly reminded, also, that "Good things come to those who wait." Well, what is it?

Cheers to the newly engaged couple at only twenty, to whom I am forever jealous. Society makes jealousy seem like such a negative thing. Truly, I am forever envious. It has a much more positive connotation. You can be jealous of someone but hope the best for them as well. It doesn’t always have to be a mean, vicious feeling. You should be cautious of a jealous person and feel flattered of an envious person. To find love at such a young age is spectacular - even if it's only a chance at love. I’m glad someone found the trail to their happy ending so soon.

I'm still waiting for someone to want to take a chance on me.
