Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino RecipeOne of my all time favorite drink at Starbucks. I like it as much as the Vietnamese Ice Coffee - Ca Phe Sua Da. I hope they never do away with this drink since it is one of my treats. Now that SO fill the Starbucks Mobile app, it is way too easy to grab one on the go.
1 1/2 cup of crushed ice
1/2 cup of milk
3 tablespoons of chocolate chips
3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
1/4 cup of cooled brewed coffee. Not so hot that it will melt the ice.
Preparation Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino
Combine coffee, milk, ice, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup into a blender and blend. Blend until you can't hear the ice crushing anymore, or about 30- 45 seconds. Pour the mixture into a glass, spray whip cream in a circular motion. Top off with chocolate syrup.

Yes. You will have to try it. It is like the real thing. Just adjust the syrup and chocolate chips to your liking too.
DeleteIt looks scrumptious. I knew you could download coupons at the register and get free or discounted items but I don't do coffee so have never been in Starbucks. My problem with coffee is that I love the cream and sugar with just a splash of coffee. Because I am trying to avoid sugar I leave it alone. Coffee actually has some health benefits including helping to ward off Parkinsons. The coffee bean has a lot to offer.

DeleteGreat recipe! I recommend if you have the time to "cold brew" your coffee. I just mix the grounds with cold water, let it sit overnight then strain it through a coffee filter. Really cuts out the bitterness of coffee thats been sitting.
