Thrills In My Motorcyle Helmet

Motorcycling could be adventurous depending on what type of riding you experience. It is a great deal of fun, but is also one of those high risk sports. Thereby, it's important to approach this activity with thoughtfulness and self-preservation. Careful planning will help make the motorcycling experience more enjoyable.

Whether you are learning to ride or a seasoned pro, remember to always wear your safety gear. The most important piece of motorcycle gear is Motorcycle Helmets. Quality bike helmets can increase your motorcycling enjoyment.

It all starts with the head gear as I recalled getting ready for my first motorcycle experience. I tried on different motorcycle helmets, full face, open face and hybrid for at least five minutes each as suggested. I was careful to check for any red marks on my face, because that would mean it was too tight for me. I opted for the HJC Helmets and lighter helmet, because I felt it was more comfortable than the heavier ones. I was also told that the more aero-dynamic the motorcycle helmet, the less noise you will have. Like most activities, having the proper gear is the first tip to an enjoyable experience.

I was prepared for my first adventurous ride, so I thought. It was a beautiful day, we even pulled out our favorite tanning lotions. The rider was a seasoned pro, without any doubt he has traveled on many types of roads before. Our goal was to make it to the hills to have lunch at the golf course. While my heart was throbbing, my eyes closed, and me feeling like I will fall off the bike during the ride, I assured him I was "good" the whole way. By the time we made it to the top of the hills, his leather jacket looked as if it had holes from my nails. I wondered how it got there?

It was undeniably adventurous, and even now looking back I have to say, it was more like a thrill, and I am so glad I had the chance to experience it nevertheless.

  1. Awesome! I love riding on a motorcycle. My husband and I had one when we were first married. They are not very practical but not a lot of thrills are "practical." I would rather take the risk then never experience the thrill. Thanks for sharing.

  8. I have never been on a motorcycle and have no plans to do so. My experience with the go-kart on my post today was enough for me.
