Some of the best things in life is...almost free. Introducing the Double Decker flowers I purchased in seed form for $.25. They were the easiest to grow, I just dropped the seeds in my Dragon Fruit shrub pot and it grew in no time. I had some pictures of these flowers in the Your Paradigm is Your Choice post. It was when I didn't know that these flowers regenerate after the first layer wilted, until one day I left them to wilt on the stalk a bit too long... The wonderful surprise that had taken me one morning, these flower grew another layer on top of the wilted one.

ReplyDeleteThe first time I discovered dragon fruit was on the airplane (Cathay Pacific) flight from Rome. I was like "Oh my god, white kiwi!!!!" hahahahah! It was really yummy! And since my trip to Europe, I have been buying dragon fruit at the grocery whenever I go. :) And you just have a tree? What in the world, woman?? You grow purple potatoes and dragons in your tree?? haha! And not to mention you go camping! :) We should hang out! :)

ReplyDeleteThose are new to me. I've seen flwering plants that bloom more than once a season but "doubles" that bloom on top of an old blossom, wow! And for that price seed packet, you sure can't go wrong, can you?
