A change of face for my home

Guest post written by Diana Evans

After my youngest kid went away to college I was in a funk. I was always a busybody doing things for my kids at home and then I had all this free time on my hands. So with the kids out of the way for a while I decided to give our home a facelift with Sears Home Pro in California.

I called them and decided to start from the inside by updating our kitchen. Our laminate countertops were looking old and dingy but I liked the ease of cleanup they allowed so I decided to go with a more modern taupe than the white that we had had since I could remember. I traded out my old black appliances for stainless steel ones since little fingerprints aren’t as great of a concern anymore.

But the part that I liked most about Sears in comparison to people we’ve had do similar projects remodeling our bathroom was that all of the work was done by them and I wasn’t left to find my own plumber. They just got out of the room so I could enjoy my new kitchen!

  3. My kitchen could use a face lift but I can't decide what I want to do. Maybe I will start with the counter tops and go from there.

  5. I tried doing several face expressions in front of the mirror that can express my emotion but at the same time look beautiful.

  6. It was not a pretty look on me. With some conscious effort, I was able to train myself to stop. I also used to furrow my brow when I was worried.
