The Perfect Pancake Recipe

Having a hot cooked breakfast is a treat in our house. My ideas about pancakes have definitely changed since I've had them from scratch instead of frozen or pre-made.

Anything that the kids enjoy usually motivates me to try and re-create. I was also in the experimental mood to make a nice stack of pancakes for the family myself.

Below is the recipe I used.

 The perfect pancake recipe:
2 table spoons of white vinegar &  ¾ cup of milk set aside to sour

1 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of white sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of salt mix together

add an egg to the milk and ---
2 table spoons melted butter and
*whisk the wet ingredients together now add the wet ingredient to the dry ingredients.

Heat the skillet with some butter or spray the pan with cooking oli
Pour in the flour and cook it until the edges are brown.
Top with syrup or whip cream or both!

    1. I like this recipe. It tastes light and fluffy. I couldn't believe how smooth the pancakes came out too.
