You may feel it all too cliché when someone tells you that you have been looking for love in all the wrong places. There is a good chance the phrase should be done away with, but nonetheless, there are some places that are just more romantically inclined than others. Paris, the city of lovers, may come to mind, but who has the budget for that right now? Keep things domestic. The U.S. of A has plenty to offer for heartthrobs and lovers of any age.




5. Savannah, Georgia
Victorian architecture and southern charm make Savannah, Georgia a top five city for romance. The city seems to be designed by novelists enchanting lovers with cobblestone streets and Spanish moss trees. Horse-drawn carriage rides whisk couples away on moonlit journeys through dimly lit parks on summer nights.   1. I have heard that Savannah is such a beautiful city and I would love to visit it and Seattle & N.Orleans. I've been to the other two. :)

    3. Good coffee is important. I actually think New Orleans is a great place for coffee. Wherever the French goes, they bring the good coffee name. Either that or wherever they discover good coffee that is where you will see their French influence.

  2. I haven't been to any of those cities, but a few are definitely on my list! N. Orleans is at the top of that list. The food alone is enough to want to get me there!

    1. I used to live in New Orleans and I agree it would be a romantic setting, but moreover, it has a lot of traditions that one should experience at least once in his or her life.

    1. I am not sure, but I think I have to agree with this list. I can see the five cities having their charms and uniqueness to be very romantic - with the exception that it is not the only cities in the US. :))

  9. Wonderful list! I have explored Savannah and this is such a magnificent place. Thanks for freshen up my lovely memories through this post.... All food was prepared by innkeepers... I would love to go New York in my next trip..
