Sales Improved With Reputation Checks

The Internet marketplace is thriving. There is not a better time to present a new business to the world. Unfortunately, the reputation of a business can change with one bad review. The best way to prevent this is by using an online reputation management service to research the company. Our business is successful. The website generates many hits on a daily basis. Customers make purchases across many platforms.

A couple of months ago, we noticed that orders were slacking. It took a bit of research, but we found the culprit. One unsatisfied customer posted negative feedback about the company on some webpages. We did not know that these forums existed. The negative comments affected the amount of web traffic to our sites, and our ability to earn money. The company discovered our net reputation with minimal effort. The process reviewed pages that referred to our business. It allowed us to correct misleading information. A little extra effort saved our reputation and improved the company's cash flow. It is amazing how our online reputation was dependent on a couple of negative reviews. Now, our marketing department is aware when anything posts about our company. The ability to use an online reputation management site is priceless. It aids in the effective running of our business. This feature also helps in the management of our entire web presence.

  6. I've been hearing more about this way of being able to monitor and even change perception about a company's reputation online.

It's a useful tool, but I feel like it's manipulative. I think if anyone has good or bad experiences with a company or product, then it's good to feel alright to share.

Of course it seems someone would most likely want to vent when a service is bad, than take the time to share when something is very good.

    Interesting concept though.
