AMAZON PAPER GOODS

Guest post by Gerard Mcdaniel

Ever since we upgraded our internet speed, I have been doing most of my shopping from the house. My sister told me that she had been using Amazon.com to buy most of her groceries. I couldn’t believe it, at least until I went on the website and realized that Amazon has a lot of great prices on non-perishables. They don’t have deli meat or anything like that of course, but they do have paper products, cereal, and anything that has a shelf life of over a month (except for frozen or fridge goods). I have really saved a lot of money on paper products. I got a great deal on bathroom tissue (less than fifty cents a roll for Cottonelle double roll) and have put it on auto-ship. They send out a new huge package of bathroom tissue and we don’t have to pay anything for shipping or any sales tax. I have also started buying things like vacuum cleaner bags, trash bags, dish washing detergent, etc. Amazon saves me time and money.

  1. I've been an Amazon Prime member for about three years and I love it. Most things I order have free two-day shipping. It doesn't get much better.

  2. I never would have thought to use amazon.com to do some of my grocery shopping. It sounds like its worth checking out.

  3. For real?
I will have to look into this.
I was thinking that shipping would be exorbitant.

  4. Thanks for the post! You're not the first one that has told me this. Another mother I met from Trinity's school also told me she has put most of her paper goods on Amazon auto ship as well. Having two kids it's hard to get to the stores and this way she would never be out.
