3 Health Benefits of Mango

Mango is very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. It is also an excellent source of dietary fiber and vitamin B6, and a very good source of vitamin A and vitamin C.   6. Now I long for my country. We always have mangoes. Pick it off the tree, buy it, get it. It's everywhere and the best time is when they come into season and you go to the field to just eat off the ttee.

    The smell is yum! Except the rotting ones of course :)

  23. Our mango tree has fruits now; they'll ripen in the next two months. A lot of birds visit us during the mango season. Oh, they are clever; they eat the fruit and leave the seed hanging on the tree! :)

    We (at India) make several dishes from both unripe and ripe mangoes. I plucked two mangoes (unripe) and made a spicy-tangy curry. Tastes absolutely heavenly when mixed with hot rice and garnished with freshly grated coconut.
