Thursday Two Questions #17

Welcome to Thursday Two Questions!

Since this is the first TTQ on Self Sagacity, I wanted to take a couple of seconds to welcome you on my site. Thank you for participating and I hope you will come back again and again to make this meme a lot of fun and lasting.

After the holidays, I try to get out a bit to do some shopping, since there should be a lot of clearance and sales. I am looking for a Fedora Hat for SO and girls dresses for Trinity, because she doesn’t have many. And I mean that literally, she has maybe two that still fit. I think the average wear on a dress for her is three times, because that is how fast kids grow.

The other item that I have reoccurring on my calendar for every New Year is auto insurance shopping. Like most businesses and services now a day, insurance quotes are going online. Not only it saves time, but it allows parents to be more productive. Who says you have to get an insurance quote between 8:00 – 5:00 PM anymore? If you still have kids at home, you know what I mean, time flies and next thing you know, and it is 9 o’clock at night.

I have tried online insurance quotes for my cars. I filled out one form for Insurance by state and didn’t have to hang on the phone with anyone. In one day, I had about ten quotes from different companies to review. It saved me a lot of time. The quotes were sent to me by email and it was terrific that I could review them side by side.

Whether you’re looking for auto insurance in Michigan or searching for Nebraska Auto Insurance Quotes, the service is FREE. You can be certain that you will have the opportunity to review the cheapest quotes. Free means, you have more money to spend on other things. I hope you are taking advantage of the FREE things online. For example, look in my Self Sagacity Store under Freebies you will find many FREE items that you might like to have.

Here are my Thursday Two Questions:
1) When was the last time you had an auto insurance quote?
2) Have you ever tried any online insurance quotes?

  1. My husband buys the car insurance and I buy the homeowners so my input is not desired. He gets new quotes quarterly. I used to work for an insurance company and this is where he gets it.

  2. We have a dairy business with many vehicles and have been with the same insurance company for over 40 years. We have had other quotes on our business and auto polices (though not online) and no other company could do better.

  9. @Judy Sheldon-WalkerI believe they have home and auto combined. I think if you could combine your home and auto, you could save more money. Then split the bill between your husband and yourself.

  10. @Margaret DuarteYes, sometimes when you have been with the same company, the prices tend to be better. 40 years is a long time and you must really like them.

  15. I hope you find some great sales. I wanted to do the sales after the holidays too but no moola :)

I think the last time we had an auto quote was in 2008.

We use online quotes I think. See the I think part if because dh handles this and discusses it with me so I don't make the complete detailed decisions.

    Have a lovely weekend!
