A Berry Creme Brulee Surprise!

Berry Creme Brulee Not an average morning today. I woke up and saw this decadent surprise next to my computer! Normally, I am off running with my coffee in a travel mug and that is the extend of my breakfast.

Dustin made this wonderful Berry Creme Brulee for me. He replaced the sugar with colorful berries since I don't have much of a sweet tooth. The berries were delightful since they were decked-out with berry sauce.

That is my son, always looking for ways to thank mom. He told me if I felt guilty eating it, just look at the worn-out click pads on my computer, and I should feel better! Ohmigosh, so hilarious! I guess I don't pay attention to them anymore since I see them everyday, but those click pads you see behind the Berry Creme Brulee shows how much I am in need of a new computer. When asked about the recipe, he shared the ingredients, and the preparations below.

Berry Creme Brulee Blueberry Creme Brulee
Ingredients Heavy cream, Egg yolks, Granulated sugar, Light brown sugar, Vanilla. Garnish with fresh raspberries, and berry sauce.

Preparation

Prepare your regular Creme Brulee mixture. Add the berry sauce to the bottom of your cookware first, next pour in the Creme Brulee mixture, and let it cool. Once cool, instead of adding the sugar as you would with the basic Creme Brulee, add your blue, black and red berries to top off this delicious treat!

I have to say Dustin is "the baker" in our family. The Berry Creme Brulee I would never forget. It was much tastier, and so much sweeter than it was intended to be. I supposed this is the feeling we get when eating something that was made specially for us by the ones we love.
