My First Gumball

Guest Blogger Miss Trinity

I am officially "potty trained" for three weeks now. My family is very proud of me when I flush the toilet. They clapped and cheered for me every time. I am happy about it too, because using the potty makes me feel like a big girl. No more having to put up with the changing stuff. I can do it on my own.

Mom said she was happy that finally she will have more options for my preschool. I can’t wait to go to into the bigger class, it seemed to have a lot more interesting toys!
The pictures below were taken on the day

that she was sure I was totally “free.” She wanted to take me to the place that sells Kids toys right across from Play Town. She said I could choose one toy for my big achievement, but it has to be in the Educational kids toys section.

We didn’t find any that we both could agree on so we left the store. That was when I saw all these colorful balls and squares. I've always been fascinated with these jars of candy. They are so colorful. I tried many times to ask mom to let me try it, but she said I couldn't have it because I wasn’t big enough. But today, I just might be able to convince mom, since she seemed really eager to get me something for my big achievement.

I showed her the red ball that I wanted. We put the quarter in and started turning the switch, I could hear the ball dropped and was so excited to try my first gumball candy. A blue gumball came out instead. It is fine. I would have loved it in any color. I haven't had another one since then, because mom is really calculated about giving me sweet stuff!

  15. Love your collages. Funny thing about gumball machines - my children did not know what they were until Grandpa showed them when we came home for a visit.
